The Skiklub Bochum eV sees itself first and foremost as a popular sports club in terms of leisure activities. Skiing as a competitive sport is only possible in the Ruhr area under special conditions that require a high level of organizational and financial effort. An association that is run exclusively by volunteers cannot face this on a permanent basis.
